The Light will Find You

Short on Time- Try Walking Meditation

There was a period in my life when I thought I had fallen off my spiritual practice. I wasn’t getting up early and sitting in my meditation chair every morning. I wasn’t putting on my playlist of calming music. I wasn’t following the routine that I had convinced myself was the “right” way to connect.

However, during that time, I found myself going on long, unhurried walks. No agenda, no phone in hand. Just me, the sound of my footsteps, and the world unfolding around me.

It wasn’t until much later that I realized… I had been meditating all along.

Walking meditation is a practice as old as stillness itself. You don’t need incense or a cushion to meet your soul; you simply need presence. The rhythm of each step became the same as my breath. The trees became my sacred space. The air on my face became my reminder that I was alive, held, and connected.

The truth is, the light finds us in so many forms. We might think we’ve lost our way because it doesn’t look like it used to, but the connection was never gone. It simply shifted its shape to meet us where we were.

If you’ve been hard on yourself for not keeping up with your practice, take a moment to look around. Maybe the light is already with you… just in a different form.

Journal Prompts

  1. Where in your daily life do you feel most present and at ease?
  2. What activities put you in a calm, centered state without you even realizing it?
  3. How can you reframe your definition of “spiritual practice” to include these moments?

ST Germain & THE Power of "i am"

The Great "I AM"

One of the most transformative teachings I’ve come across in my spiritual journey is the power of the “I AM” statement — not just as a tool for self-affirmation, but as a spiritual invocation that aligns us with our highest self and divine purpose.

Many people have heard about Saint Germain in passing, but few understand just how profoundly his teachings can shift our consciousness and our lives.

Who Is Saint Germain?

Saint Germain is known in metaphysical and spiritual circles as an Ascended Master — a being who has transcended the physical realm and now guides humanity from a higher plane. He’s deeply connected to spiritual alchemy, transformation, and the Violet Flame — a divine energy used for clearing karma and transmuting lower energies.

He’s believed to have lived many lifetimes (some say as the prophet Samuel, Merlin, Francis Bacon, and more), and most notably as the mysterious Comte de Saint Germain in 18th-century Europe — an alchemist, mystic, and spiritual teacher.

But what draws many of us to him now is the sacred teaching he passed down through the I AM Activity, which emphasizes the creative, healing, and magnetic power of the words “I AM.”

Why “I AM” Is So Sacred

When we say “I AM,” we’re not just describing ourselves — we’re activating the divine presence within us. In spiritual terms, “I AM” is the name of God in action, the individualized spark of Source that lives in each of us.

So, when we say:

  • “I AM love,”
  • “I AM guided,”
  • “I AM abundant,”
We’r not just hoping for it —      we’re claiming it as truth, as our divine inheritance.

And on the flip side, when we say things like:

  • “I am tired,”
  • “I am broke,”
  • “I am unworthy,”
We’re unknowingly using sacred words to affirm limitation.

Saint Germain & the Violet Flame

Saint Germain is also the keeper of the Violet Flame — a powerful spiritual tool we can use for clearing out old patterns, transmuting fear into faith, and releasing energies that no longer serve us. When paired with “I AM” statements, the Violet Flame becomes even more potent.

One of my favorite invocations is:

“I AM a being of Violet Fire, I AM the purity God desires.”

Say it. Feel it. Allow that light to move through you.

Try These “I AM” Affirmations Inspired by Saint Germain:

  • I AM the resurrection and the life of my divine purpose.
  • I AM the light of God that never fails.
  • I AM aligned with the flow of abundance and truth.
  • I AM the open door no one can shut.
  • I AM a radiant being of Violet Fire.

Use them in meditation, journaling, or simply speak them aloud when reconnecting to your power and purpose.

Final Thoughts

Saint Germain reminds us that the words we speak shape the energy we live in. When we claim our truth with “I AM,” we co-create with the divine. This is not just mindset work — it’s spiritual alignment.

If you’re building something sacred (like a new path, a business, a healing practice), speak life into it. Speak truth into it. And do it from the place of your “I AM.”

You are already everything you seek. The power lives in you — always has.

Creating a Calm Meditation Space

Create a Calm Meditation Space

Consistently using a space dedicated to your practice will help to keep the energy clear. Here are a few things that I've done to make my space more relaxing:

1. I chose a quiet location and comfortable seating: Select a space away from noise and distractions. It could be a corner of a room or a dedicated area. Personally, I use a specific corner of my sectional, and the only time I sit in that area is when I am meditating. Use cushions, a meditation bench, or a yoga mat. Ensure your seating is comfortable for longer sessions.

2. I decluttered and maintained the space: Remove any unnecessary items that might distract you. Keep the area tidy and refresh it as needed to ensure it remains a welcoming and peaceful environment. A clean, organized space promotes tranquility and mindfulness.

3. To help clear the energy in my space, I added air-purifying plants, healing crystals, and beautiful art that makes me happy. Incorporate plants or natural elements like stones or wood to enhance the calming effect. Add meaningful objects that resonate with you to inspire calmness.

4. I dimly light my area. Since I meditate before sunrise, I need a bit of light. Natural light is ideal, but if that’s not possible, consider using dimmable lamps or candles to create a soothing atmosphere.

5. My space smells cozy and sounds even better. Use essential oils or incense to create a calming scent. Lavender, sandalwood, or eucalyptus can help promote relaxation. Consider adding soft music, nature sounds, or a water fountain for gentle background noise. I regularly use headphones, especially if I am practicing guided meditation.

Create a calm meditation space in your own home and enjoy the tranquility.
