Remember Your Dreams: An Invitation to the Sacred Night
There’s a moment—just before sleep takes me—when I whisper an intention: “Only the most helpful dreams, please. If there’s something I’m ready to see, show me.” I’ve learned that dreams are more than stories. They are mirrors. Messengers. Memory keepers. Sometimes soft. Sometimes strange. Sometimes startling in their truth. But what they always are… is meaningful.
Dreaming With Intention
The night holds wisdom. And when we ask—gently, sincerely—the night often answers. Lately, I’ve been reminding myself to invite the dreams I’m ready to receive. Not everything needs to be revealed all at once. Discernment applies even in our sleep. So I say: “Only what I’m ready to carry.” and “Only what will help me grow in love, light, or truth.” and “Only what is mine to receive.” And then I let go. I let the dream come or not, because even silence can be a message.
How to Begin Remembering
If you feel disconnected from your dreams—or you wake with only fragments—try this:
A Gentle Prompt to Try
Tonight, before you fall asleep, ask:
“What does my soul want me to remember right now?”
Then trust. The dream may arrive quietly—or weeks from now but it will come, in the way that’s right for you.
